Certificate in Online Liberal Arts
The Certificate in Online Liberal Arts is a micro-credential for GHEA21 faculty who want to build and sustain dynamic, interactive online classrooms grounded in writing-rich liberal arts pedagogies.
Faculty must actively participate in at least six IWT CLASP workshops offered over the course of the 2026–2027 academic year per certificate.
For the 2026–27 Certificate in Global Pedagogy, two of the workshops must have a particular emphasis on global learning. The

It is possible to begin the certificate at any time during the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 workshop series, provided there are enough remaining workshops to fulfill the certificate requirements. However, space in workshops is limited – interested faculty are encouraged to apply for the certificate and register for workshops that interest them as soon as possible.
