Fall 2022 Syllabus Share

ONLINE Thursday, September 1

8:30-10:30 AM (NY) / 2:30-4:30 PM (Vienna)

To mark the start of the 2022-2023 year, CLASP invites and encourages you to join us for an informal session intended to offer the space for faculty across OSUN to share their syllabi (finished or in progress), with an emphasis on talking through moments you are most excited about and questions that you have.

Since the syllabus is often the first item given to students at the start of a semester, we’ll begin with a discussion of the central components of a syllabus for a Liberal Arts and Sciences class. We’ll then spend the majority of the session in smaller groups, offering faculty the opportunity to meet, chat, and collaborate with colleagues from other campuses. The goal of the session is to mark the start of the year together, and to offer the space for you to build connections across campuses through our collective knowledge about course design.

Please make sure to bring all or part of a syllabus that you’d like to discuss with others as well as any questions you’d like to receive feedback on. Faculty from all fields of study are welcome.
